Console overview
Hold, issue, operate, and report on digital assets, scoped to your account, the participant you act as, your organisation, or the platform as a whole.
The Console lets you issue, hold, manage, and report on digital assets. Each section uses an account, participant, organisation, or platform scope. Confirm the active organisation, network, and Acting asDelegated Authority lets a signed-in operator work inside another party's account. One check decides who may enter; the party's own roles decide the rest.Read the concept participant before changing a record.
This page is a directory: nothing here has a required order or a finished state to reach. Start with Essentials when you are not sure what needs attention right now, or open the section below that matches your task.
What each section reads
Dashboard, Actions, Activity, and My assets use the active participant. Organisation catalogs, settings, reporting, and participant registries use the active organisation, while permissions and transaction execution can also depend on the participant you act for. My account retains your own sign-in identity. Platform settings provides administration across organisations and requires platform administrator access.
A second control in the same sidebar footer, the network switcher, narrows what a participant- or organisation-scoped page shows to one active chain. All assets lists different rows once you pin a different network, and a participant can be available in Acting as on one network and missing on another.
Three of the ten names below are this documentation's own, chosen to describe a job rather than to match the sidebar exactly. The Console sidebar groups both My assets pages and Trading under Wealth, although this documentation covers Trading under Asset lifecycle. Essentials and My account name no sidebar group at all: Dashboard, Actions, and Activity sit as three ungrouped top-level items, and My account's own screens live in the identity control in the header rather than in the sidebar. The other seven names below, including Organisation participants and Platform settings, match the Console sidebar exactly.
Three costs come with switching Acting as that are easy to miss. It takes you back to the Dashboard, away from whatever screen you were on. It clears in-progress browser state, such as a pending organisation deployment or an unfinished instrument draft. And every operation you run afterward leaves two separate records rather than one: your own audit-trail entry names you and the role you held, while the ledger itself names the participant, not you, as the transaction's sender. Learn how Acting as works for the full model.
