Profile

Update your Console account details and submit the personal information a regulated token checks before your wallet can receive it.

Profile contains your Console account details and your personal KYC submission. You can change account fields that your identity provider does not manage. A reviewer checks each KYC submission before the platform records a verified claim for your Participant. Regulated tokens check the resulting on-chain identity claims, rather than your Console name or password.

This page only shows and edits your own account and your own KYC submission, never anyone else's. Reach for it to update your account details, to check what a reviewer still needs from you, or to see where a review stands. Editing an already-verified profile again never rewrites what a reviewer already signed off on; it opens a fresh version, reviewed on its own.

Rendering diagram...

A reviewer decides a submission one of three ways. Verification failed sets that version's own status and stops it there. Changes requested leaves the version under review and records the reviewer's request against it instead of closing it out. Either way, the version a reviewer has already looked at stays exactly as it was; you address the outcome by starting a new version, not by editing the old one.

Submitting a new version does not touch what is already verified. Your Participant's on-chain identity keeps carrying the last version a reviewer approved until, and unless, the new version is approved in turn; a draft or a submission still under review never suspends or blanks out an existing verified claim.

Steps

Open Profile

Open My account, then Profile. The page shows your account details at the top and your KYC profile below it, including the outcome of the most recent review if you have submitted one before.

Profile page with account details and KYC status

Screen equivalent: the page lists your account details, editable where your organisation allows it, plus a KYC status banner and an editable KYC form.

Update your account details

Edit your name or email where the field is not managed by your identity provider. To change your password, enter your current password and a new one. A successful password change ends your other Console sessions and disables your API keys. Plan how each integration will regain access before changing the password.

Complete and submit your KYC profile

Fill in the personal information fields, choose the residency status that matches your situation, and attach the requested document. Save the form as a draft if you are not ready to submit, or submit it for review once it is complete. Submitting locks that version's fields: the Console will not let you change them again while a reviewer is looking at it. If you need to change something before the reviewer decides, saving again does not edit the locked version; it starts a new draft alongside it.

Troubleshooting

A field is grayed out and I cannot edit it

Your identity provider manages that field, not the Console. A note underneath says so; change it there instead. A fixed email field can also mean your environment has email changes turned off entirely, rather than your account being singled out.

My KYC submission was rejected or sent back for changes

A rejected version shows "Verification Failed" with the reason underneath. Changes requested instead keeps the banner on "Under Review", with no separate flag here. Editing the form and saving it opens a new draft either way, rather than touching the reviewed one; stored feedback then appears on that fresh draft.

API keys still work after a password change

Confirm that the Console accepted the password change. If an old key still authenticates, revoke it from API keys and ask an administrator to investigate the credential reset. A failure while disabling keys can leave them active even after the password changes. If an identity provider manages your password, follow that provider's reset process and review Console API keys separately.

I do not see why my Participant's identity still shows unverified after I submitted KYC

A submission becomes a verified claim only after a reviewer approves that specific version, and only your organisation's compliance team can move it from submitted or under review to a decision, at which point the banner reads "Verified". Check the status banner on this page rather than the participant identity view; the identity view reflects the last version the banner marked "Verified", not a pending one. See Acting as participants and On-chain identity for how a verified claim shows up against your Participant record.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep more than one KYC draft at a time?

No. You hold one KYC draft at a time; each save lands on that same draft instead of spawning a second one. After you submit a version, later edits create a new draft without changing the submitted version.

Do I need to keep checking back while my submission is under review?

Return to Profile to read the status banner. Approval or rejection changes the status; a request for changes keeps the version under review. Follow any feedback before submitting a new version.

Who reviews my KYC submission?

A reviewer with the claim issuer or identity manager role in your organisation. You cannot review or approve your own submission, and this page never shows or edits anyone else's account or KYC data.

Why can't I upload a document yet?

The document uploader only appears once a draft version exists, and it only accepts new files while that version is still a draft. Save your personal information fields first; the upload section then appears below them.

Does changing my name here change my verified legal identity too?

No. The name field at the top of the page is your Console account name, separate from the first and last name a reviewer verifies in your KYC submission below it. Changing one does not update the other.
