Claim Refund
Learn how to claim a refund of your contributions when a token sale fails to meet its soft cap. Refunds return the payment currencies you contributed.
When a token sale is finalized as FAILED (soft cap not met), all investors can claim a refund of every currency they contributed. No tokens are distributed.
Prerequisites
- The sale status is Failed
- You made at least one purchase in this sale
- You have not already claimed your refund for that currency
Steps
Confirm the sale status
Open the sale detail page or your investment under Portfolio → Investments. The status banner shows Failed, with a per-currency breakdown of your refundable contributions.
Claim your refund
Each contributed currency appears as its own row with a status (unclaimed, claiming, claimed, or failed). Claim each currency and authenticate with your PIN or OTP. Each currency settles independently -- if one currency is blocked, the others still settle and the blocked row shows a decoded reason with a retry.
Verify your balances
After confirmation, check your wallet balances for each payment currency. Your contributions are returned. No sale tokens are distributed.
What gets refunded
| You contributed | You receive back |
|---|---|
| USDC | Full USDC amount contributed |
| Multiple tokens | Each currency you used, claimed per currency |
The refund covers 100% of your contributions. No fees or deductions are applied by the contract.
Troubleshooting
| Error | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
SaleNotFailed | The sale was finalized as SUCCESS, not FAILED | No refund available; check Withdraw Tokens |
NoContributionToRefund | You did not contribute in this currency, or it was already refunded | Nothing more to claim for that currency |
